This gorgeous little 8cm Paddington Bear wears a blue felt duffle coat and red felt hat and comes presented in his very own printed union jack tin suitcase that features 'P.B, Wanted on Voyage' wording on one side and 'I love G.B' on the other.

Paddington bear was created over half a century ago by the English writer, Michael Bond. Bond based Paddington Bear on a lone teddy bear he noticed on a shelf in a London store near Paddington Station on Christmas Eve 1956, which he bought as a present for his wife. The bear inspired Bond to write a story, and in ten days, he had written the first book. Almost everyone knows that Paddington is a bear who usually wears a duffle coat, a rather shapeless hat and, on occasions, Wellington boots. Many people also know that his favourite food is marmalade and that he orginally comes from Darkest Peru.
